Who handles your information

Sniffopotamus is operated by Black Health Intelligence Pty Ltd trading as Sniffopotamus, ABN 23 693 026 112. We are based in Australia and handle personal information in line with Australian privacy obligations.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• account details such as email address and authentication data;
• cabinet, wishlist, shelf, share-card, and wear-log data;
• partner/couples preferences and cross-ratings you choose to save;
• uploaded images, fragrance notes, prompts, and AI conversations;
• technical information such as device, browser, IP, logs, and usage events;
• billing and subscription records processed through Stripe.

How we use information

We use information to provide the app, authenticate users, sync MCP tools, match fragrances, generate recommendations, process payments, prevent abuse, support users, improve the product, and meet legal and accounting obligations.

AI and connected tools

If you connect Sniffopotamus to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other MCP clients, those tools may receive the account data needed to answer your request or perform an action you approve. Review the privacy settings of any external AI tool you connect.

Service providers

We use service providers to host, secure, analyse, and operate the service. These may include Supabase for database/authentication, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, email providers, analytics providers, and AI infrastructure providers.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe. Sniffopotamus does not store full card numbers.

Data access, correction, and deletion

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to legal retention requirements and technical limits. Contact us using the emails below.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for the stage and nature of the service. We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.
